If you're looking for a secure, space-saving, and convenient safe for your home or business, consider the Safe-in-a-File from 1st Security Safe Co. We've been security specialists to Los Angeles since 1922, and we now provide our safes and safe services to not only Southern California, but also the entire country. Our Safe-in-a-File is just one of our dozens of safe options and one that features a truly clever design.
The Safe-in-a-File is no mild-mannered filing cabinet. Within this seemingly regular four-drawer steel locker file is an inner safe constructed with quarter-inch steel walls and a UL-listed Group II combination lock. The safe itself is a roomy 2.4 cubic feet in capacity within hot-rolled steel walls to the file that are nearly fifth of an inch thick. The Safe-in-a-File looks like a regular file cabinet, but the top drawer unlocks and opens horizontally to reveal the safe.
The safe's internal re-locking device offers tamper resistance by automatically locking the bolt work if someone is attempting to break into it. Fire, too, is kept out of not only your safe, but also your three regular file drawers. Our Safe-in-a-File also offers numerous optional add-ons including a spy-proof dial, a modular alarm system, interior lockers, drawers, coin racks, and more.
